What does it mean,to be sustainable?

I understand you, like I know you must be tired of reading conventional talks and definitions of what sustainability is. Like, m sure you must have heard a-lot about sustainability, sustainable solutions, sustainable design, sustainable material, sustainable market and what not.

Okay, but trust me this is worth a read.

There is a very important and obvious yet easy fact not many people think about. Sustainability is not only about recycling materials and recycling. It’s about making the right decision, it’s about being aware of what you need and what you want. It’s about reducing waste pollution.

I know it sounds odd but, there is a difference between buying what you need and buying what you want. You need to figure this out first. When you go out buying stuff, think about do you really need it? Or do you just want to have it cause some xyz has it and it looked great and useful. Well after getting what you liked, the headache it would cause you would be way more than the timely satisfaction you feel while buying it.

Keeping up with trends is quite fascinating but trust me it’s not worth it. So, making sustainable choices and decisions, will not only help you save money and keep up your budget. But it will also help you think how blessed you are, with what you already have. And so, if you really wanna bring change you can always go for a second hand shops and in current times, when creativity is at its peak, you can also do DIYs which will make unloved materials useful and give them a new purpose and new life.
