PROJECT DETAILS

Duration: 6 weeks

Location: Pakistan

Our first international E-design project took us to Pakistan, where we had the opportunity to redesign an entire office space. Comprising two offices, a reception area, a restroom, a staff kitchen, and a private room, we knew we had to consider the local design preferences and the unique ways in which people interact with the space in Pakistan.

Taking inspiration from the colourful and vibrant design style commonly found in Pakistan, we created a stunning office that told a story in each distinct area.

In the first office, we opted for neutral colours and incorporated various textures to add depth and interest. To introduce a touch of colour, we chose a muted blue shade for a large shelf, which provided a natural and serene atmosphere. Dramatic seating and lighting were carefully selected to infuse the space with a sense of luxury.

Moving on to the second office, we created a visually striking contrast by using a dark brown hue on one side of the walls and crisp white on the other. Different textures were again introduced to enhance the visual appeal. Since this office required ample storage, we included floating shelves for ornaments and a main shelf with closed and open sections. To add a touch of tradition, we adorned the space with a Persian rug-style floor covering and opted for simple wooden chairs. The main desk chair exuded elegance with its dramatic brown leather upholstery.

In the restroom, our aim was to create a luxurious and cozy atmosphere. We achieved this by adorning the walls with a green plant-inspired wallpaper and featuring a striking golden mirror. The sink, designed in a Nordic style, showcased white marbles and was complemented by a brown wooden shelf.

For the private room, which would host meetings and important guests, we selected a blueish and white wallpaper to create a refreshing ambiance. Light, neutral accents were incorporated to further enhance the sense of openness and tranquility.

Lastly, in the staff kitchen, we aimed for simplicity and functionality. Neutral colours and textures were applied throughout the space, ensuring a harmonious and pleasant environment for the staff.

This international E-design project allowed us to explore and embrace the unique design preferences of Pakistan while creating a captivating office space that catered to the client's needs.
